Neat Atmosphere, staff is very kind and friendly. Food was good, alot of flavor.

There are very tasty and vegetarian specialties here. The price-performance ratio is excellent and the staff very friendly. Even during the lockdown, you don't have to go without your food, you can easily pick it up. Always worth a visit.

We went here for the first time yesterday. Awesome service and food! Everything, including the salad dressing, was superbly spiced and delicious. I also loved the traditional coffee. Staff spoke English and German and were happy to explain the different food options and demonstrate how to use the injera to eat. No credit cards accepted, bring enough cash.

This restaurant was awesome. The service was friendly. They explained what each dish was made of and how to eat it. The food was delicious! The appetizer was made of chickpeas and was very creamy and tasty. For the main dish we got the platter for 4 so we could have a variety of food. It was more than plenty for the 4 of us and everyone was very happy with the different flavors of the dish. Dessert was a mango sauce with black rice. We loved the sweetness and texture of the dish. We definitely will go back again! We had a great experience!

Friendly service. Prices ok. Food was good, but unfortunately the meat was too dry with little sauce. Still to be recommended.

The restaurant is located in a side street in close proximity to the K in Lautern, the Mall-Oarkhaus and the Kreissparkassen parking garage. The latter is open 24 hours and is very, very inexpensive for Sparkasden customers with a Sparkasse card (enter directly into the machine at the entrance). About the restaurant: unreservedly recommendable! The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Extra requests are implemented with a smile if it is feasible. The food is great. I recommend ordering a platter with several of the dishes on offer to share. The food is usually medium to noticeably hot. There are different types of meat and vegetarian dishes. You like to be out of hand with sourdough cakes. Tip: The flatbread under the dishes soaks up the sauce, so enjoy it rather than ordering the filling bread. Safari coffee with salty popcorn was my perfect end ??

Welcome to Africa. At least when it comes to the menu. But one by one. The location is a nice, small, rustic-style restaurant in a quiet side street in the middle of the city center. Throughout the bank, the staff is warm, friendly and takes care of the guests. Even without a reservation we were assigned a table without any problems, but we "only" could use it for 2 ½ hours because it was reserved. The menu is plentiful but not overloaded. In addition to vegetarian dishes, there is a lot of choice with lamb, beef and chicken. On request, you can of course also get an explanation of what the individual dishes are all about. When the order arrives, as a "beginner" in Africa you are told how best to eat it. You quickly get used to using your fingers instead of cutlery, but there are also forks on the tables. I can't complain about the taste. The spice palette takes some getting used to but is very tasty. African flair in the middle of the Palatinate - this is the best way to describe the restaurant. A visit is definitely worthwhile. Please note that you can only pay with cash, unfortunately cards are not accepted.

Best restaurant in Kaiserslautern! Love everything about it!

I always love coming to this place! The staff is nice and accommodating and the food is phenomenal!!! We got the platter for 4 and we always just dig in and have so much fun eating with our hands and the "spongy bread". I recommend this place to anyone especially if you're a foodie like me and my family. You won't regret it.

This place is awesome. One of our favorite places to eat in K-Town. Never had a bad meal or dining experience here.

Excellent service & fresh food!!! My mestie (male bestie) took me here tonight & we had a side salad w/turkey, okra plate, and another plate with a mixture of lentils, stewed beef, & seasoned veggies. All served with delicious injera! And try the Safari tea - it’s SUPERB!!! Alex was our waiter & he was wonderful! I have some food restrictions & he made sure our dinner was perfect! I will be returning back for more! Cash only establishment.

Reservations are a necessity and it's a cash only establishment. The atmosphere is nice and cozy and the staff is very friendly. There are many choices of vegetarian or meat foods and drinks. The food was very tasty and fresh, served nice and hot. Highly recommended!

Very very tasty restaurant. We sat at the counter because it was completely reserved / full. The staff is very friendly and explains everything nicely for customers who eat African for the first time. The dishes were delicious. We recommend.
